The challenge

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) is the UK’s leading general insurance intermediary organisation representing the interests of insurance brokers, intermediaries and their customers.

For Hiscox, the BIBA Conference represents a valuable chance to engage with new contacts and strengthen existing broker relationships. Gearing up towards the annual show, they spotted another opportunity – to promote the dedicated services it provides to counter cyber security risks.

With 5,000 registered brokers among 8,000+ attendees, we needed to find a way to make Hiscox stand out against 216 other exhibitors and hit a target of 100 meetings across two days while capturing contact data at the event.

The solution

Our event services and striking creative concept brought the cyber security risk to life. Rooting in the message ‘Stop the knock-on effect’, the stand itself attracted BIBA attendees with an eye-catching design – including a suspended Newton’s cradle!

Meanwhile, a premium two-part direct mail pack encouraged brokers to book a meeting, we also created an event specific video played on the stand, which was widely shared post-event too.
