Location: Wallingford, South Oxfordshire

Part Time – Flexible for right candidate

Hybrid Remote (Minimum of 1 Office Day per week)

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic New Business Manager to join our team on a part time basis. This role will focus on driving company growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities through various channels such as networking, cold calling, social media, and email outreach.  

 

Your Mission

To drive company growth by securing new business opportunities and building lasting client relationships. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Telemarketing Outreach: Conduct outbound calls to potential clients to introduce our products and services, generate interest, and schedule meetings.
  • Social Media Engagement: Utilise social platforms to identify prospects, engage with potential clients, and introduce our services.
  • Lead Generation: Develop new sales opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and social media interactions.
  • Prospect Engagement: Introduce our services to potential clients, understanding their objectives and challenges.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with prospects across SMB to enterprise-level organisations.
  • Pipeline Development: Achieve goals for engagement, pipeline development, and scheduling meetings between prospects and the client service team.
  • Data Management: Maintain and improve the database of prospects, including accurate data entry into the CRM system (Salesforce) and data cleansing.
  • Communication with Team: Effectively communicate results and insights to senior management and collaborate with internal teams to support business objectives.

What you will bring

  • Strong Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to quickly develop rapport and influence others. 
  • Marketing Experience: Previously worked in marketing or a marketing support role.
  • Telemarketing Experience: Previous experience in telemarketing or telesales is advantageous but not essential. 
  • Social Media Proficiency: Skilled in utilising social media platforms for professional networking and outreach. 
  • Resilience: Tenacity and resilience in a fast-paced environment, with a go-getter attitude and willingness to learn from rejection. 
  • Self-Motivation: High energy and self-driven, capable of working independently and managing time effectively. 
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks, track leads and follow-ups, with great attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with nurturing via social platforms, CRM systems (Salesforce), Intent and email platforms, and office software.
